System 2000TM Carbide Tools

Boundary System 2000TM consists of 3 and 4-foot long adapters. At the edge they are equipped with transverse holes at 1.5-inches on center. Cemented carbide tipped tools are easily mounted in the holes (these tools are similar to those used for asphalt planing).

It is important that the tools rotate while in operation to obtain even wear of the cemented carbide tips. To get the tools to rotate as freely as possible the angle against the road surface should be approximately 40°

Operating Instructions
  1. Put on adapter with provided tools
  2. Tighten bolts with air wrench
  3. Move grader to a flat level surface - not a cement floor
  4. Put down and forward pressure on mold board to take out all freeplay
  5. Roll mold board to achieve angle of 70° on adapter plate which should result in automatic 40° tool to ground surface angle
