 We specialize in the design and manufacture of cast manganese pans. Most
of our pans are designed with a "wiper" on the leading edge to keep fines out of the mating surfaces and thereby extending the life
of the pans.
Of course, in order to arrive at close tolerances, all pans have machined fit surfaces. Unlike most other manufacturers, we make
extensive use of jigs and gauges to ensure that all pans are identical. Dimensional consistency and straightness not only give
Boundary pans proper fit and smooth articulation, it also practically eliminates any fit problems in the field.

Cast manganese pans are industry proven to be the best pan for moving
hard, abrasive materials. They are superior to fabricated and alloy steel pans in toughness and fatigue strength. Using a casting
eliminates the possibility of weld failure as in a fabricated pan. The wear surfaces on manganese steel pans, which are subject to
impact and high stress abrasion, work harden to a hardness of over 400 BHN for long wear life.
