 The idea behind standard wear pads is to offer a
flexible system for wear protection to accomodate individual needs with a standard range of pads varying from 2-inches (50mm) to
8-inches (200mm) in length.
Machinery and plant equipment can be economically protected at vulnerable points by installing pads in increments of 1-inch (25mm)
to suit specific needs. Standard wear pads can be used as a quick means of installing wear protection in a test installation for later replacement with
specially made tiles.

Button welding into the bolt holes gives a strong metallurgical and
mechanical bond. Should pad replacement become necessary, the weld may be drilled out and a replacement fitted.
CIC-WP Bits may be bolted in position with M8 (5/16-inch) cap-head bolts
either into threaded holes, or with nuts and washers on the underside of the components
